Buko Juice

buko juice imageIn the Philippines you could see a lot of kiosk/food carts either in malls, streets, beaches or in a bus selling coconut water or most popularly known as Buko juice for Filipinos. In restaurants they too offer Buko juice as one of their drinks. Coconut water is a very refreshing and popular drink especially in the hot summer. Some like their buko juice with milk, sugar and ice to enhance and spice up the flavor, others prefer shakes with black pearls, or for some simply all 100% natural buko juice.

Others believe that buko juice offers a lot of health benefits, like it can be used as an energy drink because it contains a lot of electrolytes and mineral, also  a liquid replacement for people with diarrhea and  even as an intravenous fluid.  Another benefit of  buko juice is prevention of kidney stones and relieves conditions like Urinary Tract Infection (UTI).

So if you want some refreshing drink in the Philippines, try buko juice for its a delicious and healthy drink.
